Paneer tikka wraps
Ingredients
Ingredients for marination
- 500 grams Paneer, sliced into 1 inch thick slices
- 1/2 tsp Chilli powder or as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Mustard oil or any oil
- 1/2 Lemon
- Salt
Ingredients for wraps
- Tortillas or wraps of choice
- 1/2 Bunch Salad leaves
- Sliced vegetables of choice
- Sauce of choice
- Chopped corriander
Instructions
Method
- In a bowl mix together all the ingredients for marination along with some salt.
- Coat the paneer slices gently in the marinate and keep aside.
- Now heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and add the marinated paneer slices in a single layer.
- Meanwhile. slice your vegetables of choice for the wraps (cucumber, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, avocado.
- Wait for 3-5 minutes and slowly flip each slice so it becomes light golden brown on both sides.
- Add the remaining marinade (if any left) to the pan.
- Once the paneer is cooked, remove from heat.
Assemble your wraps
- Warm up your wraps.
- Add a dollop of sauce, followed by salad greens.
- Lay a few slices of paneer along with sliced vegetables.
- Drizzle some more sauce on top and garnish with corriander.
- Fold the wraps and serve immediately.
Notes
- Sauce suggestions: mayonnaise, or yoghurt based sauces go well.
- Spice up the wraps with some sriracha, chilli flakes or chopped green chillies.
- Add some bean sprouts for extra protein and fibre.
